It all started with a simple whale meme—Whale hello there!—sent by Nichol to the most masculine man she had ever seen. Tosh, seeing that a total baddie anime nerd had just slid into his messages, played it cool.
One thing led to another, and soon, they agreed to meet for donuts. That first date? Absolutely amazing. And so was the next. And the next. And the next.
Day after day, they talked, learning just how alike they were—how right they were for each other. What started with a meme turned into something real, something undeniable.
The Proposal
On a quiet night in Old Sacramento, Tosh led Nichol to a familiar spot overlooking the river—the very place where she had once playfully said, “I bet you wanna kiss me.”
This time, the moment was different. The city lights shimmered on the water, and the night felt full of possibility. Tosh took a deep breath, knelt down, and asked the question that had been in his heart all along.
She smiled, said “yes,” and in that instant, their forever began.
To celebrate, they shared a wonderful meal, filled with laughter and excitement, before setting off on a spontaneous trip to San Jose, embracing the joy of their new chapter together.
